The Republicans keep saying that we need to preserve tax breaks for the wealthy because they are the job creators.

That gets me to wondering: the “Bush Era” tax cuts have been in place for years, and the “job creators” have been getting richer and richer, so where are the jobs they’ve been creating? I find it hard to believe that they’ve been holding their collective breath all this time because the tax cuts haven’t been made permanent.

If the tax cuts are made permanent, can we expect a wave of job creation?
