Despite the conservative religious slant that Cal Thomas always implies, or perhaps that I always infer, I actually find myself in agreement with much of his recent column Dark Night. Stripped of the swipe he takes at the liberal media, his message is that more guns or fewer guns, there are evil acts that just can’t be prevented.

Good for him.
