This has a somewhat Indian flavor to it, but it shouldn’t scare anyone off.

Dressing:

¼ cup wine vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
2 Tablespoons chopped chutney (such as Major Grey’s)
2 Tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1½ teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard

Combine in a covered jar and chill (doesn’t matter how long).

Salad:

2 Tablespoons chopped green onion
10 oz. package fresh spinach, torn into bite-sized pieces
1½ cups chopped, unpared apple
1/3 cup raisins

Toss in salad bowl. Shake dressing and pour over greens.
