This has a somewhat Indian flavor to it, but it shouldn’t scare anyone off.
Dressing:
¼ cup | wine vinegar |
¼ cup | olive oil |
2 Tablespoons | chopped chutney (such as Major Grey’s) |
2 Tablespoons | sugar |
½ teaspoon | salt |
1½ teaspoon | curry powder |
1 teaspoon | dry mustard |
Combine in a covered jar and chill (doesn’t matter how long).
Salad:
2 Tablespoons | chopped green onion |
10 oz. package | fresh spinach, torn into bite-sized pieces |
1½ cups | chopped, unpared apple |
1/3 cup | raisins |
Toss in salad bowl. Shake dressing and pour over greens.
