This is about as easy as it can be. As the name implies, it is red and therefore suitable for Christmas; but it’s very light and refreshing, so it’s suitable for summertime (or anytime). When I insisted on making this for a get-together with my wife’s family, she was sure they wouldn’t drink it; but it wasn’t long before they were milling around the empty pitcher with disappointed looks on their faces.

Ingredients:

Chill all of the ingredients before starting.

1 bottle prosecco, or any fizzy dry white wine
½ cup orange curacao
2 cups cranberry juice.

Mix the ingredients and serve.
